I bought these inserts for my husband to replace the footbeds in his Keen utility kitchen shoes. His feet and back felt instantly better once he put the new ones in. He wasn’t in the market to buy new shoes and with these he didn’t have to.

I bought these replacement insoles to see if they would give additional support to an older pair of Keen Erickson hiking boots. I use the boots all around my farm and even though they looked like they should have plenty more miles left on them, they felt too worn out to give me the support I need. So I thought I would give these insoles a try. I’m very glad I did. They have completely rejuvenated my old boots, which is an excellent thing since they are my favorite style and Keen does not make them anymore. Thanks Zappos and thanks to Keen for making insoles that help my tired out feet!

Replaced original insoles with these to get a better fit. They are almost twice the thickness (7mm vs. 4mm) of the original K-10s that came in my Pittsburghs. Even tho they were D width they had a bit too much room for me. These helped out tremendously.
Lost –
These insoles feel pretty good. For a hiking shoe with a harder surface, these seem like they will work well.

To me, these feel like standard, OEM insoles. Like cardboard, simply add thickness inside the shoes, do not add any cushioning, no arch support. Feel like cardboard.

These gave my husband’s Keen work boots new life! He was complaining of foot pain daily, and asked me to buy him some new insoles from the big box store. I thought I had seen that Keen sold their own, so I of course checked Zappos first. He is amazed by how comfortable his boots are again, these are even better than the originals. He has had no problems with them taking up too much space in his boots, and is so happy he upgraded to these. The price compared to a big box pair of insoles is not a lot different, and totally worth it!

I like them overall, they fit well and do not squeeze my toes, which is nice. They are a very solid shoe which is important for me since I am a bigger guy. But, when having to stand for long periods of time they do wear out my feet faster than I would like. That also could be because I am not used to having to stand for a long time too, so take that as you will. I previously sat at a desk all day for several years in my last position.

While the arch support is minimal, these inserts do a really good job of cushioning your feet while walking/working on hard surfaces.

These insoles were the best upgrade I could have made for my work shoes. These insoles are quite a bit thicker than the standard Keen insoles that come with your shoes. The additional thickness makes these insoles extremely comfortable, and I had no problem being on my feet for my entire 10 hour shift. These insoles also feel like the density of the foam is greater than the original insoles in the shoes. The width of the insoles is spot on, but the length is a little tricky. The insoles are for multiple size shoes, so you might have to trim them down to fit your size shoes. The insoles are clearly marked where to trim them down to, for half and full sizes. The tricky part, is using a razor knife to trim them down. The foam part of the insoles is easy to cut, and makes a clean line. The fabric part of the insoles is harder to trim, because the fabric wants to rip, instead of cut, which would leave a torn edge, instead of a nice clean line. The improvements I’ve talked about, add up to an excellent product that makes being on your feet all day, just a little bit easier.

Would recommend trying.
Hopefully they’ll get a little more comfortable when settled in.

Bought these with the Keen shoes. These are the same as the original, but with an added layer making them about 1.5-2x thicker. Very comfortable, I recommend these and the Keen brand shoes.
