They fit incredibly well, they are going to suit me very well for the intended use… long hikes across rivers multiple times per hike.

I bought this KEEN TARGHEE III in a men’s size 8, as I normally wear a 10 in women’s. I liked the available colors in men’s better. Fit was prefect. I got them as I cannot wear a sandal for work, but this “schandal” my manager approved. They have great traction, nice air flow from the side and heel vents, and even thou my foot is covered like a shoe, they still feel like I’m wearing a sandal. The foot bed has ridges for slip resistance inside the shoe if you should happen to walk thru water trial hiking. Took some getting used to at first, but hasn’t proven to be an unpleasant issue. I like them very much and they look sporty. One other review suggested they are flimsy, but I don’t find that to be true. They have a toggle to pull to tighten the straps and they fit me snug and secure. I haven’t had to readjust them at all while wearing them. I would suggest them to others. My first pair of Keen’s ever and I am pleased! Thank you Zappos!, I order all our family’s shoes thru you and haven’t been disappointed yet.

Thank you for replacing the size 9 with this 9.5. It took a couple of more days to convince myself, but the extra width is just enough. I’m not used to arch support as my arch is quite high. It feels like the arch support extends farther forward than I’ve had before. I can feel it at the back of the ball of my foot. Not that it hurts, it’s just different. I do suggest an adjustment in the tongue – it has a tendency to curl and requires extra effort to straighten it as I put them on.

Loved the look and feel of these Keens but the second time I put them on the lace broke loose from the plastic fob that holds them together! Exchanging for another pair as I’m Hoping this was just a freak manufacturing defect.

The width of this sandal it’s narrower than the Newports I’m used to. But other than that, I really like the sandals. I returned them for Newports. Great customer service at Zappos!

This is an update to my original review. I do like these shoes, they are cute, the reflective bands are awesome and actually stand out at some distance. If a person walked thru deep water they would be amazing! and they do also have good traction. They are breathable with the side vents and in the summer that is wonderful. Now the bad…they tore up my feet. Granted I have aging feet, over 50 now sigh, but…they have no arch support what so ever IMO. For me it brought on, brought to light, aggravated, what is for me, apparently a heel spur. I got them for work (on feet all day work), thinking they would be great during the summer to wear with bermuda shorts and capris right. After a couple months of working in them I have a fairly serious problem with one foot now, and had to give them up for a better shoe with significant arch support in an attempt to improve/heel my foot issue. If a person has young healthy feet they likely would be just fine, if not, I would steer clear of this style.

I wanted to keep these sandals: I liked the style and build quality, and the arch support was great for me (whereas I need an insert with most shoes). However, the size 9s were too short and the 9.5s were too wide. Very disappointed, I returned them both. Zappos return policy is great! I will definitely buy from them again.

My toes are cramped even though I ordered the same size as I have worn in Keen sandals for years. Did I mistakenly order a women’s size? I have very difficult feet and have found that the men’s Keen is more comfortable for me.

fit and size are great. Laces are thinner and cheesier than they have been in the past. Must be accountants running the business at Keen. Otherwise a great shoe (if the laces hold).

I have bought several Keen sandals in the past, and loved them, leather insoles, and great arch support. keen doesn’t make these anymore. These sandals were ugly with the toe, and the sole was bare neoprene or some plastic, makes you feet sweat.
