A stiff shoe that felt true to size but lacked support for my high arch and the back dug into my ankle. I returned them.
Thank you Zappo’s for shipping so quickly and easy returns.

I have this shoe and this is second pair..If u are in the south it’s not for you. In cool or cold
Weather it’s the best. I have shoveled snow in these..The sole on the bottom keeps me from
Slipping and I. Yes weather and water proof.

I’m very happy with this purchase. I had originally ordered the Kaci Winter. Loved the look but with my high instep it was impossible to slip on. I quickly realized I needed a shoe that tied. With the wide toe box I was able to go down a half size. Took out the insoles and inserted my orthotics. Wore them right out of the box. No breaking in for me. Very comfy.

This is a very nice, solid shoe. A bit stiff right out of the box, but I’m comfortable with the fact they will break in over time. I got them for working outside in the yard and garden. They have good support, so I can easily trump around in the woods in them as well. Great shoe for the money and I went with the “Rusty Brown” color, it was $20 less, due to the sales of the color I guess. But in person, the color is great looking! I scored on this purchase! Thanks Zappos

This is my third pair of Keen Targhee II. I have worn the women’s size 9 for over 10 years. When I ordered the size 9 this time, I couldn’t keep the shoes on even with bulky socks. I came to zappos and ordered the next half size down and the fit was better but the insole was different from my previous pairs. The heel cup is not as deep. Although the 8.5 was a better width and length, I feel like my heel comes up when I walk. This isn’t the first pair of Keens I’ve had trouble wit sizing. I ordered a pair of sandals last summer. Same size I’ve worn for over a decade and they were ridiculously too small!
It’s unfortunate, but after this experience I won’t be buying Keens online. Too risky that the size doesn’t fit and the Targhee II is no longer my go to low hiker. I bought a pair of Merrell Moabs and they fit great. Would not recommend buying this shoe.

These would have been great shoes BUT they run shorter than expected PLUS they have a gosh awful hump, seam, or bubble thingy in the toe bed that makes them impossible to tolerate. Back they go. So disappointed with this recent recurring problem with this style of Keen shoes.

i was so surprised at how pretty these were (earth/wasabi) and was excited to have them until i tried them on. i normally am fine ordering 7.5, but these were sooooo small that they mooshed my toes. they have to have been mismarked and probably should have been 6.5. i am returning these and may decide to order a larger size. i think if they fit right they would be a good shoe.

this is an update. i bought these shoes in my regular size (7.5) and they were too small so i sent them back. i decided to try again because i thought they were so cute, so i ordered an 8. they are also too small. i refuse to go a full size larger than my regular size for a pair of shoes, no matter how much i like them so these are going back too. how could these get through quality control being a full size too small. what’s happening to you, keen?

Im used to wearing Merrill’s , as I like the wider toe box that they typically had , for years, but now I think their toe box has gotten narrower.
So, these definitely felt a little heavier on my feet than the Merrill’s typically do, but still pretty light weight. Im a definite 8.5 , thats what I initially ordered, and they were way too big. But, the customer assistance team at Zappo’s is so kind, knowledgeable and efficient, that exchanging them for a size 8, was very, very easy. The size 8 definitely was a much better foot, and they have an extremely roomy toe box. The only down side I found, is that unfortunately, they are also very wide in the heel area, which, I don’t, and I don’t think most people need. However, if I lace them up nice and tight, they feel very good , I will definitely keep and enjoy, as i walk dogs, in all terrains and weather conditions for several miles a day

First pair of Keen’s I could not wear. My normal size fit nicely but ankle very unstable & feet slipped/walked out of these with every step no matter how tight laces were. Returned. Keen NXIS EVO fit way better for me, love them.
