Had to order one size larger. The overall fit was then good. Haven’t really tested it the waterproof features but it will happen. Feet feel great after wearing them all day and working outside!

I ordered these shoes, because my pup ruined my old pair of work shoes. My fault. I left where she could get to them. I received them on Wednesday. Friday I wore them all day to work. About eleven and a half hours. They felt good all day. Very comfortable. Like that old pair of shoes that you love.

Great pair of shoes. Keen is a brand that fits me well and I really like how these look. They are supposed to be waterproof, but I cannot confirm that until the rains come to Oregon. Thanks to Zappos for quick shipping and a good price. These shoes are a keeper for me!!

I cannot recommend these shoes. They are the only pair I have ever bought that are cut so that they rub against my ankle bone. Very painful to walk. I am trying adding a support to see if that helps. Have owned lots of hiking shoes and boots (Keen, Merrill, Vasque) but have never encountered such a poorly designed pair of shoes. Absolutely awful.

I’ve been having some pain in my feet lately. I threw away my old shoes which I bought for $39 (now it’s $75) on Amazon 1 1/2 yrs ago (I should’ve kept them a bit longer). In my search I learned I “underpronate” or “supinate” which means, when I walk or run etc, my foot lands more on the outside of my foot – so the shoe wears down on the outside edge of the heel. So, now I’m trying to find shoes that are good for feet that supinate. I had high hopes for this Keen Steen shoe, as, I live in Keen’s Newport sandals (sz 7) all summer for the last couple years. Sometimes I wear a size 7 and sometimes a 7 1/2. So, I ordered a 7 and a 7 1/2. Neither worked for me. The 7 1/2 was way too big. The 7 felt more right but heel seemed tight and the shoes were not comfortable for me. I’ll return both pair. Back to the drawing board. Thanks anyway.

I have been wearing Merrells for the past 5 years and they have been getting worse every year. So I made the change in September and loving every minute I slip my foot in the shoe. Great walking support very comfortable to wear and day. For me a match made in shoe paradise.

After just six weeks of normal wearing, the black rubber part of the sole began to separate from the side of the shoe. Kudos to Zappos for refunding my purchase price and sending me a shipping label to return them because they are clearly defective. I ordered another of the same pair, with a Zappos $20 credit for the bad experience with the first pair, in hopes that the defects in the first pair were an anomaly. We’ll see.

This was my second pair of these Keens and each failed in the same place; the sole became detached from the shoe on the side. It happened with the first pair after a month and the second pair after five months. Disappointed since they are a comfortable shoe. Thanks to Zappos for allowing me to return each pair with a refund.

I purchased these for my husband. Keen is all we wear. I’m an industrial cleaner and they are great. I’m pounding my feet on concrete all day. These shows will work for him.
