I planned to keep the Keens. I was unsure if the arch support was sufficient as I have chronic plantar fasciitis in both feet. Fortunately, I had a scheduled appointment with my Podiatrist and took the shoes to her office to get her opinion. It was a big NO. The first thing she did was fold the shoe in half – which it should not do it it is going to provide good support. Unfortunately, they will have to go back and I will keep looking.

I was so excited when I saw this new style, but it didn’t fit as comfortably as the Newport H2 or the Hydro. It has a softer footbed than the Newport, looks about the same inside, but it has less arch contact. It feels much “flatter” and lets your foot pronate more than the other 2 styles.

This purchase was a replacement for a pair I worn until they feel apart. I absolutely love the new design with the Velcro backstrap feature that is also removable so you can wear then as a mule. I have very wide feet and the toe box is perfect. The support is great as well. Keens were made to fit my wide feet. Thank you and the best part they are made in the USA

I like the style but they definitely seemed smaller in size. These did not fit like a 10.5. I have the Venice and they fit very well.

I bought both the Newport H2 and the Ravine H2, knowing I would only keep one. It was a hard decision. Both felt true to size and width. I thought the Ravine had slightly more arch support. But the Ravine’s Velcro straps around the Achilles area had me worried that the Velcro could wear out in a couple of years. That being said, the Velcro strap felt very well made. And I thought the Ravine was prettier, more feminine looking that the Newport H2!

These fit well after I sized up a half size and I liked the way they looked for a waterproof sport sandal. Unfortunately I had to return because the Velcro fastener across the back of the heel was extremely stiff and very uncomfortable to me.

I love the color of these Keens and the size and fit are great, however, I do not like the back strap. It’s one piece and velcros on each side with the intention of overlapping, but it doesn’t overlap evenly and the keen logo is off kilter and it’s uncomfortable. I prefer the strap that is not adjustable.

These were very solid and felt good, just too flat for me overall. The only other comment is that the velcro in back makes a little bit of ‘velcro’ sound when you walk… I probably would have forgotten all about it after wearing a while, but in the house back and forth it was kinda funny and the cat left the room :-D!

I didn’t like the Velcro back strap therefore I removed it and loved the fit for a slip on style. However one strap on the outside of right shoe dug into my foot hurting badly. By holding the two shoes outsides together it’s obvious that they are not sewn or put together the same. So very disappointed for I love Keens. But I just cannot wear this right shoe.

The fit of the Ravine H 2 was smaller than the keen Venice sandals that I purchased a few years ago. It almost seems that Keen is making their shoes a bit smaller than they used to. And that the opening to get your foot it has become smaller as well. I do appreciate the velcro strap in the back to adjust for size and making it easier for me to get the sandals on easier. I have a high instep that can make it a challenge to get shoes with lack of flexibility and opening around the upper foot on my foot…, and sometimes off. Unfortunately these sandals did not come in the color I wanted, in the size I needed at Zappos. Will have to get them from and alternate retailer.

Back ankle strap made of super rough material and harsh velcro. Super surprised of Keen, considering the rest of the shoes wherever the skin touches, is soft material/cushioning. If it causes skin irritation in the first few seconds or minutes, it won’t be good on a walk. The shoe ran small too, the toe box hit up against my toes. So sad. Great arch support. They are cute but uncomfortable materials!

Love this shoe, primarily the color, but velcro strap in back is so unnecessary and uncomfortable. I am a perfect size 8 since all I wear are keens, tried these in 8.5 to give more room for velcro strap and still uncomfortable. These days, my favorite go-to is Whisper.

I have a very high instep, and I can just fit my foot into these Keens with a bit of toe wiggling and scooching. Once on, they are very comfortable but I do wish they had just a touch more give in the instep. The arch hits me perfectly once I’ve wiggled the sandals on. I love the removable back strap; for the time being, I’ve removed it, but it’s a good option for when I might be walking on more uneven terrain.

I have loved my first pair of Keen sandals and they have lasted many years of various outdoor activities. I ordered this pair along with 3 other styles in size 11 B. These fit and looked the best on my foot and are the most supportive for my arch. However, I do not like the adjustable Velcro heel strap in the back. It is scratchy and I think the bungee cord in the front, is more than sufficient to get a snug fit if shoe is otherwise sized correctly. Please bring back this style without Velcro and I will be first to order.

I really wanted to like and keep these shoes. Unfortunately, the biggest size available in Women’s is 10.5 and my feet require an 11 in women’s. I ended up purchasing a different style from the men’s section. Please carry bigger women’s sizes! They are often way cuter!

These fit more like the original keens – wider in the toe box (yay!). Problem is, the heel strap isn’t padded. I had it on for a few minutes in the house and already my heel is sore, so I know it will blister if I actually take wear them for a day. Still trying to decide what to do. These are less bulbous than Newports, and not as narrow as the CNX sandals, so I thought I had found my goldilocks pair but the heel strap might be a deal breaker. Trying to brainstorm a way to make the heel strap work because most new keens don’t fit that well anymore. Why couldn’t they make this with the normal padded heal?

These shoes look as cute as the old Venice H2 keen sandals but the Velcro strap on the back is awful. It was so uncomfortable I had to return them. Please, Keen, go back to the old style —it was wonderful.

Love these keens. This is my second pair, about lived in them for several summers. So much so I had tan marks on my feet! ?. These fit true to size and for me, need no break in period.

The fit and size are very good, love the bumper toe and straps on sides of shoe are placed so the little toe does not get out! I normally wear a wide, but this shoe is wide enough and is very comfortable.
