I wear a 9.5 wide in women’s. Not available in these type shoes. So I went with men’s 8 B.
Because of the back Velcro closure the shoes fit me.

Great shoe, feels great, but keens always run at least half a size too small

Great

Would buy again & again! Followed suggestions 9 get half size larger and songlad indid! Back strap has lots of adjustment. Bungee cable is kind of nice for top and front adjustment. Have gotten them wet and worn and NO abrasion or discomfort. Very very plush sole that is perfectly rigid. Can’t wait to take the camping and hiking

Sent back a pair of Clearwaters. Sole too thin, not much cushion, harder on and off and size 13 were binding my big toe. Arch support not good. I wear 12 and the 12 Rapids H2 are a perfect fit. Great arch support in the perfect spot, just enough cushion but not too stiff, easy off and on with the right Velcro adjustment. No need to sit down. Just tap your toe on the ground, and use the other foot to slide down the heel strap. Off they come. Slide you foot in over the heel strap, then cross your leg over your knee and slid the strap over your heel with a finger. , and they are on. I was worried the Velcro would wear out over time, but once you set it properly you never need to adjust again. No wear and tear on the Velcro, No need to sit down. I love them.

Bought these for my son to wear at Boy Scout camp. He takes a pair of Keens every year. We chose this style because they looked like they would dry faster than the Newport H2. They do, but the straps and velcro rubbed terrible blisters on his feet while at camp–even after he wore them around to break them in. Disappointing to pay $75 for a shoe that he has no interest in wearing again.

I bought these due to having wide feet. I love them!!!! Womens are never wide enough and these were perfect for my kayaking and other water stuff! Love these kicks!

I ordered 3 pair of shoes I hadn’t tried before and this was the ONLY 1 of the 3 I kept. The other keens sandals were too “floppy” in the sole. I require a stiff sole from heal through ball of foot else I get really bad plantar fasciitis. I also really liked the fact that I could completely remove the heal strap. With shelter in place we leave our shoes outside and I don’t want to have to bend over every time I go in/out of the house. these look good, don’t slide around if I’m chasing the kids, easy to slide on/off, and half stiffer sole than other sandals. Perfect for me.

Comfortable. Seems high quality materials and workmanship.

Toe box is room and comfortable! Great fit right out of the box!

The fit was fine. The quality of the sandal was not the same as other Keen sandals and I’d rate the comfort as fair to poor. Compared to other sandals, Keens and others, it felt like walking on rough cardboard. The straps appeared to be of a quality that would not last more than a season and if worn all summer, perhaps not that. I was surprised at the quality of this sandal since I have purchased about 10 other Keens and this simply does not match up. I don’t recommend and believe Keen needs to rethink this sandal.

This is not the shoe I thought I was buying to replace the leather Rialto. The Rapids 2 is sort of an upgraded flip-flop with back-straps. I found it very uncomfortable and the sole felt like I was walking on cardboard. I would expect the shoe to last but one season. Even on sale, I thought it was overpriced. Frankly, I don’t think it’s up to either Keen’s or Zappo’s standards. I’ve returned it and continue to be grateful for Zappo’s return policy.

The Rapids H2 have the same problem as the current Newport and Newport H2. Compared to the Newports I got 6-7 years ago, the foot opening is way too small and tight. Unlike the Newport and Newport H2, I can loosen the velcro on these, but there is barely enough length to the velcro strap to get the hooks and loops to overlap enough to hold it together. Apparently, all Keen closed-toe men’s sandals are now made for men with low insteps. The quality of these is also not up to former Keen standards. They look and feel cheap. At $100+ they are nowhere worth the price. At $29 from a shoe discount store I might keep them and deal with the short velcro straps, expecting them to last about a year at most, but at $100+ I am returning them less than an hour after they arrived.

I have a very difficult time finding sandals because I have flat feet, so even when the length and width is correct they end up feeling too large (and even slipping off) b/c I can’t bind them tight enough on the top of the foot. For example, I have to pull most velcro straps so tight that the strap either drags to the floor or (more often) runs out of velcro to attach to. Keen’s system with bungee drawstrings along the top solves this problem for me. These are well built (my last Keens lasted many years) and comfortable, and great for kayaking.

These did not have the arch support that I am used to in Keens. They felt very cheaply made and the back strap rubbed my heel. Sent those back immediately.

Just perfect. Fit was as expected. Use them frequently for kayaking – in & out of the water use. Dry quickly and comfortable.

They’re fine. Size is true. Quality is good. The feel ok on my feet. The Velcro on the heel is not the most comfortable. They just look cheap, or at least uninspiring. My children’s Keens “pop” while these are meh. Keeping them, overall I’m happy with them. But for $120 rsp I was hoping for more.

I bought this for my husband.. He is difficult to fit since his foot is long and narrow. He absolutely loves them. He was able to adjust them to to narrow for his foot. Told me he loved them so much he wanted to wear them to bed!

Fit was too narrow, had to send them back!

love the sandle

I’m a loyal Keen customer. I purchased this pair last year, but since have so many others, I only used it 10 to 15 times. It looked great and was very comfortable for a very short wear, but then all of a sudden became totally useless as one of the straps on the side got detached from the sole. It is not what I expected from Keen. See attached photo.

All I love in a Keen sandal, except for a hard and scratchy velcro strap across the back of the heel. Baffled by who would like this design.
