Very comfortable and supportive. I where them for everything, including long walks, hiking, boating. My feet stay cool, dry, comfortable and odor free all day. best shoe of this kind I have purchased to date. I will buy more in other colors.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Cancun. I broke them in the day before I left. They are super comfortable! I was surprised that inspite of the odor protection, my feet were already funny smelling the first day. That aside, these are superior sandals. I was trekking through the jungle in Yucatan Mexico just as comfortable as if I were wearing sneakers. As an added bonus they even dry fast!

Great sandals, my first pair lasted over four years and still looked great. Would still be wearing them if the back pull-up strap on one sandal hadn’t broken. I normally wear a wide shoe, but he medium sandal fits fine.

My husband’s first pair of Keens and the most expensive sandal he’s ever bought. Well worth it! They run slightly small, but his fit him just right. He wears them with no problems, likes the color, loves the toe bumper.

These are the best sandals I’ve ever had. We are just finishing up a European tour, with lots of walking. The sandals were used most of the time, and they were great – comfortable for walking, standing and climbing a good part of each day.

These are very comfortable and durable. Buy half a size larger than your normal size. Zappos is the best vendor that I have used for shoes. Their service is second to none!

I bought these for my husband and he said they were comfortable straight out of the box. Despite the toe coverage, they do not make his feet smell. He walks for miles in them and his feet never feel tired. There is nothing bad to say about these sandals.

I’ve had these all summer, and they’re great. They’re the best sandal-like shoe I’ve ever owned. They’re well made, sturdy and comfortable and can be worn in a wide range of situations. These average-width shoes function quite well despite my narrow foot.

I needed something that had toe protection so chose the Keens. So far I am very happy with my purchase. The only thing I have noticed is they seem a bit heavy. Not a big deal but expect a little more effort walking in these.

I believe this is my third pair of the Keen Newports. I originally purchased them for backpacking and outdoor water use, and have converted them to everyday wear instead. They are comfortable, roomy and breathe well. They aren’t the best in water or outside as small stones can easily get stuck up in the toe area, and they are hard to get out without taking them off. They made great travel shoes a few years back when we took them to Europe. They don’t wear out very quickly, but it depends what you use them for. I get 3-4 years out of each pair. The foot bed gets more comfortable as they age. I’m glad they still make the leather version, and as long as they do, I will likely keep buying them.

Well a pair for me for Christmas.. all ready have a pear after all these years it is harde to tell them apart…Used zappos for price super fast shipping and Our history together…..and use with back down..also increases the arch…mine are such.

This is a great all-purpose shoe. It provides plenty of protection for the foot while still being open and flexible. It can be worn with or without socks in case you’re going from warm weather to cold as I often do when traveling to Mexico. This shoe dries thoroughly and quickly if you happen to be wearing it walking through water or into the ocean. Five stars for sure. Only negative: this shoe takes a minute to put on as you can’t “slide” into it and then tighten the laces. You’ve got to use the strap provided to pull the shoe on.

Just ordered my second pair of Newports ever. I tried hard to wear out the first pair, which I’ve had now for over 8 years, but finally I gave up and bought some new ones. These things are indestructible. And very comfortable. Mine are like slippers on my feet. I have literally worn them in every environment: desert, mountain, ocean, river, working in the back yard, riding bikes — I use them for everything. For me, the wider toe box and the comfortable footbed are critical. I have bad feet, so I need the comfort. I highly recommend these to anyone considering a tough/comfortable sandal.

There’s no way I’m paying so much for a pair of sandals. That’s what I said 5 years ago before my wife talked me into getting them for our trip to Hawaii where we were in and out of the ocean, hiking, kayaking, zip lining, and a dozen other activities. These things held up great and were so comfortable that I wore them nearly every day since. I just bought my second pair and am looking forward to the next five years of enjoyment. That are so worth the money.

These are terrible sandals. As another reviewer stated, these sandals stretch and there is only one adjustment method. There is no way to adjust the heel strap so you have to keep trying to tighten the rubber band type lace. That is a very poor design. After two wearings my little toes now poke out the sides, plus my foot slides around in the sandals. Find something with more fit adjustments, at least for the heel strap so you can pull your foot into it. I cannot return them because the problem did not appear until after two outdoor wearings. I cannot recommend these!

I have been wearing Keen Newport and Venice sandals for over 10 years. They have a much better fit and design than Teva, Cobian and competitors. They have plenty of support and self-adjusting. The waterproof leather looks great. The Venice style is cooler than Newport. Insert your foot into the shoe until it is flat on the insole, then pull the back strap up over your heel. This will save you a lot of tugging until the back strap stretches with use. Wash the shoes off after walking in sand and dirt. No kidding, just hose them off or soak in sink! That will keep your feet from getting gritty or soiled. Tuck the plastic top of the laces in under the laces as in the picture. That will help keep the laces from loosening. Or tie a knot above the lace-clip. The toebox is not as wide this year as in years past.

This is my 3rd pair of these, I love the grip, arch support, style and comfortably. New out the box and just as comphy as ever and are like an old friend for my feet. The reason i had 2 pairs of these is, after a while the “anti microbial” treatment wears off and they do become a bit stinky and need to be washed out so i would alternate between them. The older of the 2 finally died after 10 + years, and when the other one does too will buy the same.
