My son is in love with these shoes. He loves the traction on the bottoms for climbing trees. 🙂 The only tricky part is getting them on, but I don’t think that’s so much a weakness in the shoe as a need for kiddos to be patient and loosen the laces. I guess if the laces were a little longer that would be better. They did give him a blister on the ankle bone as he was breaking them in.

Much too small in toe box. Have purchased this shoe for years for children-hard wearing,nice looking,but this year made the toe box too narrow.

I really wanted my 13 yo to love these but… they are so very stiff there was no way he’d hike/play in them. They felt more like snow boots. Kind of narrow in the toe.

We buy a lot of keen products and they usually run wide. These though are narrow and really hard to get on, even for my little one who has narrow feet. In addition, the shoe string clasp at top broke about 2 uses in.

Bought these for my 9 year old son to hike in. So far he loves them and they are holding up well. Seem true to size.

This boot was so narrow that my kids could barely get them on, even a size up from what they usually wear. They liked the look of them otherwise, but they were completely unwearable.

Purchased for my ten year old son and was disappointed that they started to come apart at the seams within two months. He does a lot of hiking and playing in the woods and I thought they would have held up as well as his Keen Newports. Will not purchase again.
