Very disappointed. My son is 10.5 and has wide feet and has been wearing keens since his first pair of shoes due to this. These didn’t even look like they were cut out for any foot, let alone a wider one. Extremely narrow. Do not resemble keens at all.

The velcro never stayed closed on this shoe and I just returned them after about 60 days of wear due to the velco peeling off the tab.

These were too big. I wish they came in half sizes as there is a lot of difference in a whole size.

These were too tight. Keen needs to make half sizes.

This did not fit or feel at all like a Keen. It has very narrow, stiff toe box, yet was oddly wide at the heel, making it at once too small and too large.

My son loves these shoes! And I love how durable they are. He had them in the size 13, and we purchased these in size 1 as he outgrew those. His 13’s lasted through lots of hiking and daily wear. I wish the big kid sizes had the Velcro strap like the little kid’s. He is a very picky kid when it comes to shoes, and these are the only kind he will wear.

My daughter loves it. She says it is very comfortable. She is getting over the pink/ lavender colors and choosing more blues and grays.

Runs big. Also very roomy width (but not “wide”.) Had to order a half size smaller.

These shoes do not fit like keens usually do. They are shaped very narrow for a keen. My son has worn keens for years and did not like the feel of these shoes.

Unlike the original Oakridge style, these run more narrow. My son could not wear them. 🙁

These Keens are nothing like the Keen’s my boys have been wearing for years. This must be a new style. They are very narrow, stiff and hard to get on. I was very dissapointed

Very Very Very narrow fit

The shoe was really narrow and uncomfortable for my son from the moment he tried them on. Had to send them back. The Hikeport fits him much better.

According to the size chart my son wore a size 2, but when i got them they were huge, they actually fit me, i’m size 5 in womens or a size 3 in kids. I liked the style for myself so i re ordered a size 1 and size 3 for me, as the size 2 were just a bit too snug on me. Size one 1 is still a little big for my son but good enough and he loves them! The size 3 for me was way too big. Oh well for me, but yay for my son! We’ll see how long they last, he rips up shoes pretty quickly!

Great for up North at the cabin and by the lake.

I’m not one to post negative reviews and I am very fond of Keen as a brand, but I was disappointed in this shoe. I wear a womens’ size 5 which is hard to find and often kids’ shoes work better for me. My last pair of Keens were a kids 4, so I naturally thought that would work in this shoe. When they came in, they were much too large. The shoe is stiff and heavy, but I thought going down a size could work. I exchanged for a 3 that slipped on my heel unless I made the laces super tight. Still a very stiff shoe, so I tried wearing them inside the house on a few occasions and my feet were unhappy. There really is no give. I can’t imagine a child being comfortable in this shoe. I am hoping the Terradorra Sport works out better for my light hiking as it has a mesh upper and is more lightweight.

These were great overall, but after walking around the house, my son complained about the tongue of the shoe biting into his foot. They are pretty stiff.

Such a cool shoe but the fit is strange. My son usually wears a 6.5 Medium. The 7 was way too big in length. The 6 was right at his toe but slipped on his heal. Sad we have to return. Great price and handy to have the quick tie

My son has worn Keen shoes his whole walking life and these were unwearable. He has narrow feet, but these were so narrow they pinched when he walked. And the heel is weirdly wider than the toe box so it wouldn’t stay on his foot. Hugely disappointed with Keen for this very off-brand design.

These shoes was purchased for my six year old son and he loved the way they looked. He struggled with the fit though. He complained that it felt like his toes were scrunched inside the shoes but when he did the toe wiggle test there was plenty of room in the length. The issue is that the toe box is more narrow than one would expect when purchasing a “normal” or “medium” width. His feet were being squished like the shoe was closing in on his foot. It was an interesting situation, I guess. Anyway we returned them for a different shoe. A bummer but a must.

We live in the PNW, where it rains most of the school year. My son really wanted boots that he could still play soccer in at recess, and these seem to have fit the bill! I think they were a bit stiff when he first wore them but he hasn’t complained about that since the first day, so I think they broke in pretty quickly. I would have preferred something that had a higher ankle, for use in the snow, but for everyday wear at school these are perfect.
