My 20 month old son currently wears a size 4 and these were just too big all round his feet. I really liked the color and flexibility but there is no support for his tiny feet because it was just too big. They were almost like flip flops for him. Too bad I can’t size down either. In comparison with the Newports though (in the same size), the Newports seems more true to size or just fits my son just fine. I am going to return these for the Newports. I would say these are for kiddies with “wide” feet and not “medium” as they list it to be. I noticed this when trying them at Nordstrom too.

I love Keens for my kids, but as some other reviewers said, these can’t be tightened enough around my son’s ankle (he’s 16 mo). He has average sized baby feet, not thick and wide, but not thin and narrow either. I could have gone a size down, but probably wouldn’t have had enough toe room (I like to have a 1/2″ of space so they last longer). I think these would be great if your child has thick feet. Maybe when he’s older he’ll have a pair of Keens.

Went through 4 pairs of sandals trying to find the ones my two year old would actually wear! These were the winner! He has soft little feet and can’t stand stiff shoes or those that dig in to him. These are soft neoprene style on the inside, lightweight, and sturdy on the outside. Looking forward to using them in the water! Also, he has slim feet and these fit just fine.

Great summer/water shoes! I got these for my 20 month old for water days at daycare and summer play in general. He has wide and puffy feet, so it was difficult to find shoes that fit, but these are great. He typically wears a 6.5 (with room to grow) wide, and the 6 fit him perfectly. Very happy!

I love these sandals for kids. They’re sturdy, waterproof, and easy to get on and off. The extra toe protection is a bonus, especially for the small fry who trips a lot these days. I have them for my walking 1 year old, and still getting this style for my 4 year old!

Love these! I was hesitant to buy them since they seem like a lot of money for a shoe that would only be worn for 2-3 months, however, we couldn’t find a shoe that could get wet, be easily washed that was also sturdy and would stay on (crocs were our previous shoe and they slipped off when child ran). These are amazing, can be used to climb up a slide (yeah, we are working on teaching them not to), dry quickly and kids LOVE them.

These sandals are awesome! My toddler son wore these all summer and they still look new. He would get them dirty and they would easily rinse off. Flexible and durable. Easy on and off. No funky feet smell. I’ve kept these for his little brother to wear and plan to buy these again for my boys. Worth the money.

My 20 month-old grandson is wearing these into the ground this summer. Great for all around Brooklyn: playgrounds, swimming pool, splash pads, etc. Only shoes he’s worn all summer. The size 6 were smaller than the Kamik size 5 and Jambu size 5 that I had also ordered, but they fit his wide feet. (Easy to get on, too.) I notice that, after a few months of wear, the velcro straps do not always stay closed, and that could be improved by making the strap longer. Great shoes, though. Highly recommended.

Perfect summer sandal for my 15 mo old who just started walking a few months ago. His foot is a size 4.5 and we sized down to a 4. They’re supportive but also very easy for him to walk in. The best selling point was that they open up a lot to be able to put his foot in without having to struggle.

I’ve been buying these shoes for my kiddos every summer for the past 4 years. This style has a more flexible sole than the Newport, so I prefer it, especially for toddlers. I loathe shoes that get in the way of running, climbing, and kids being kids; the Seacamps are terrific for the playground, pool, and beach, and we love the fun color options.

I only purchase Keen’s for my three boys. They are supportive, durable, comfortable, and last forever. These are no exception. I purchased cheaper shoes for my 2 year old and they left blisters everywhere. But not the keens. They fit great out of the box and I usually size up to get extra life out of them. Right now he wears a 6 but I bought these in a 7 so they last for months. Plus they are adorable.

These are great shoes. I wish they had a half size. We ordered a size up and I can say that by the end of summer (MD so summers are longer) there is still extra room in the shoe for my 2 year old. They hold up well for washing in the washing machine and have been a great go to shoe for us. This was my first year with Keens (I have boys ages 2-8) and I will be purchasing them again next summer.

My 2yo son prefers sandals to sneakers because the older kids in our neighborhood wear sandals but we were struggling to find a pair that wouldn’t cause him to trip. After suffering with crocs, we found these and they are perfect. They are true to size and built for running and active play. The best part is, my son loves them.

RUN SMALL! I read all the reviews and no one mentioned that these run small. My son currently wears a toddler size 5 and these shoes in a size 6 are EXACTLY the same size. Very similar sizing to See Kai Run – a brand most recognize as one that runs a full size smaller. The shoes are very flexible (ideal for young walkers) and they are very well made. I’ve always been a huge fan of Keens and these shoes seem ideal for nearly every summer activity for a toddler. I just wish the other reviews (any of them!) had mentioned how small they run! I wanted to get him the next size up so I can be sure they will last him through the summer and into the Fall. These will be going back for the size 7, but I can’t wait till we get them – and neither can my 2 year old – he cried when I told him he had to take them off!
