Perfect summer sandal for my five-year old, and our second pair in two years. They are more lightweight than the Newports, which I consider a plus, but they are every bit as sturdy.

I bought these shoes in red for my 4 year old. His counslors put them in the wet clothes bag to go home. The red bled onto a white rash guard swim shirt ($35). So now the shoes travel in a plastic bag.

I got these for my son to wear at Disney. They were fantastic. They are not as wide as the Newports, and therefore fit him better. They are also lighter than the Newports, which he liked. I wish there were more color options!

These shoes are awesome and good enough to be our one shoe for the spring/summer. I got them a bit big so my daughter could wear them with socks while it’s still cool. The little toggle tightener really works to tighten it so even when she is not wearing socks they are nice and snug. For this reason I would recommend going for a larger size if you’re in-between. I was worried abut the flexibility of the sole, as many keens are stiffer than I want for my toddler (I don’t want a stiff sole messing up her perfect, untainted walking pattern and foot muscles–a la minimalist philosophy). I was happy to find that this is one of the more flexible soles keen offers, while still burly enough to protect her feet from sharp rocks, etc. Another plus–she’s been wearing them for weeks now and no funky odors! Also, the red is freakin’!

These little shoes are wonderful for small, growing feet. I purchased them for my 4 year old grandson; we buy Keen’s every summer. They are a bit narrower than the other styles which is necessary for his narrow foot. They can be snagged by pulling the cord and the Velcro folds over nicely. Excellent quality; good tread, lightweight. An all-around wonderful shoe!

These dried fast unlike the Newport style which is what we needed. 6yo Little boy wears a size 13.5-1 was hoping to buy size 1 so he could wear them longer but bought the 13.5 because the 1 was way too big. He’ll be able to wear them for a long while.

These are amazing. My boys destroy shoes and these have held up unbelievably and don’t even look worn after tons of wear and abuse! Expensive but totally worth it. 5 months in and I think the kids will outgrow them well before they wear out.

These shoes are great for kids. This is the second pair of this style that I’ve bought for my 5 year old. They are not as bulky as some other keens. They dry quickly if they get wet. My son wears them all summer.

These Keen’s Seacamp II CNX sandals are the perfect summer shoe! This is our third year buying them for our kids. We’ve had 5 different pairs – all of which still look great. They offer great foot protection – especially at the toes, dry quickly and can be washed easily. My kids wear them almost exclusively from April – Sept/October. They are great for the park, walks, the beach, hanging out, etc. I accidentally bought the Keen Newport H2s first this year, and had to return them. I ended up having to help my five year old get hers on, and she said they were not as comfortable. Then I struggled to get my almost three year old’s on and decided that would not be happening daily. The Seacamps are just a bit more flexible, so for they are easier to put on – for kids and parents.

These are great for my toddler with very wide feet. They run about one to 1 1/2 sizes smaller than what he wears in a sneaker. I would order at least one full size up. I’ve always found that Keen runs a little small. These are awesome shoes! They are easy to get on and off with good support for his little feet.

These shoes are excellent. They are our second year using them. I use them for 4 boys ages (3, 5, 8, and 9) and this year we just came back and bought the next size up for each boy.

The Seacamp style are best for our child’s wide feet. We had the Newport but it was difficult for our child to put them on; the Seacamp opens fully, making it easy to put them on without assistance.

Keen needs to get it together with its sizing. The left hand isn’t talking to the right hand over there. Got this shoe in 10. It’s the exact same dimensions as the size 8! See pics.

I bought these for my son who is very picky about shoes. I had been through 5 pairs of sneaker type shoes in the month because the toes kept ripping when he would drag them while riding his scooter. Then I found these and they are wonderful! Even with everyday wear and being very rough on them, they have lasted. I did have to buy another pair 2 months later, but considering I was buying a pair A WEEK previously with the old shoes, I’m happy!
