We’ve been big fans of the Keen Newport sandals for years and decided to make the jump to the newest Keen Newport shoe for this school year. As with the sandal, the Newport shoes are sturdy, durable (so far), and comfortable with socks for our now 4 year old. The only gripe I have is that they are CLUNKY and not all that “stylish”. If you have a newer walker or accident-prone kid (I was one of them), these probably aren’t the right shoes for your kid. But if you’ve got a kid who drags their feet on the swings, digs in the sandbox, and rolls in the grass, these shoes are for you.
