My 13 yo likes these better than any other hiking boots he has had. He even wears them on rainy days to school without any prompting.

The shoe is ok, but the inner padding on the sole of one shoe was completely loose. It would not stay down flat. It needed to be fixed before it could be worn.

This mid-shoe is cut very awkwardly. It hurt the top of my ankle with every step. Also, the Keen insole is not great–needs more cushion and arches support. Returning. Decided to keep the higher boot style.

These worked great for my son last fall & winter with his extremely narrow feet. We used them for hikes and those in between days where it’s muddy and/or slushy and you don’t quite need snow boots but sneakers won’t cut it.
