I really like the look of these shoes, definitely different from Keen’s usual style. However, they were a very slim fit for foot ‘height’ and they were also more narrow width than the other keens I have in the same size.

I miss the older styles of Keen Elsa. I’ve owned 3 pairs of the previous styles and loved each one. These are cute but lacking in comfort and style compared to the older versions. The new sole style does not feel as cushioned as the older ones. In my opinion it also does not look as good. The rubber looks cheap and low quality compared to the older versions. The canvas on this new version is softer and feels like it will wear through much sooner. The tongue of the shoes also seem a smidge too long and hit my ankle weird. None of the previous pairs have done this. The shoes are cute and will look good with lots of my spring and summer wardrobe but I am torn about whether I will keep them. I’m pleased with the color of the shoe but other than that it’s disappointing when compared to the Keen Elsa from previous seasons.

I purchased the Keen Elsa light and Dr. Scholl’s Jam Session to compare. My foot is short and wide, and the Keen fit much better. The Elsa Light is a little heavier and has a thicker sole than the Jam Session. Jam Session is a longer, slightly narrower shoe – I have extra room at the end of my toes, unlike with the Elsa Light. The Jam Session doesn’t go up as far towards the ankle, it’s a bit more delicate of a style while the Keen is sportier. I think Jam Session would go better with a skirt or dress than the Keen shoe. As it ends up I am going to keep them both.

Didn’t even bother taking the left shoe out of the box because the right was so short and narrow. I have owned Keens in the past and they have been soo comfortable. These are cute but way too small. I am returning them.

These shoes do not provide the same comfort as the old Corona sneakers did because Keen has reduced the size of the toe box. That’s the one comfort feature I miss the most and can’t figure out why they believe this is an improvement.

These are cute, and the insole did seem like it would be comfy. However, the shoe was so narrow, I nearly couldn’t get my foot in, so they’ll have to go back. For reference, I do take wide in some brands/styles, but not in others. I’ve never owned a pair a Keens before, so it was a bit of a gamble. Do wish they made this style in a wide, as they are cute and the insole seemed like it would be great for me, but oh well.

Love these shoes! My foot is wide, and they easily fit. When they arrive in the box, loosen the shoe strings to make them comfortable for you personally, as they are strung pretty tightly. There is NO breaking in period – comfortable immediately with no raw/sore spots. They’re adorable too!

I give up on finding a comfortable, wide toebox sneaker! I’ve had a pair of Coronados for years but seldom wear them bc they’e heavy & clunky & just don’t fit right. Was hoping these updated Elsas would be an improvement. Sigh. I love my other Keens, Targhee & Voyageur, but sadly these are going back.

I bought the gray felt shoes. They are so stiff and heavy. Feel and look clunky. Just awful. The back of the heel is completely rigid and hurt immediately. Would not recommend to anyone.
