i think these are the wrong boots than i ordered..?

These are the worst hiking boots I have ever had. Today is the third day after and my feet and ankles still hurt. During the hike, it was so bad that I took a painkiller pill and later even contemplated taking these boots off and walking bare feet. I cannot recommend them. Absolute disappointment.

i’m not a sportsman, a hiker, a rock scrambler or a guy who hangs around the coffee shop reading the news on my laptop. I’m a farmer who needs a comfortable, tough boot that will give me support all day long. I may be in dusty ground, dewy grass or tromping though mud puddles. I need a boot that will repel water in all conditions. This boot meets my needs particularly on the comfort side.
On the negative side, the glue on the soles does not hold. You’ll have to get a tube of glue and take the time to re-adhere the soles from time to time. If you are willing to do this maintenance, you can get a year out of a pair.
