I’m a long time fan of Keen shoes and boots, because the toe box fits my wide foot. With these boots I decided to go up half a size to 8 1/2, and I’m glad I did. I like wearing thick socks in winter, but if that makes the fit tighter it actually makes my feet colder from poor circulation. I don’t think my feet have grown (I’m 70) but rather I’m now very focused on comfort and warmth. I’m not sure how I like the side panel overlap on the outside profile; should be fine unless it starts to stick out over time. If that happens I’ll see if a shoe repair shop can tack it down somehow. I also really like the aggressive tread on the outsole to prevent slipping. At age 70, I’m all about comfort and safety!
