Just be aware when ordering these Keens, that they are a newer and MUCH narrower version of sandals than other Keens. I contacted the manufacturer and they said this footbed is much narrower, but they make 3 others that are the previous footbed. These are Venice, Newport and Ravine. I’ve bought Keens for more than a decade, and they have always been a favorite because they fit. I could not get my foot into the Astoria version, no matter how I tried, and they would have been long enough I think.

Very comfortable and lightweight. My size 9 feet needed a size 10 in these due to length. Let me start by saying that, I’ve realized, all this time, that when people mention “narrow”, they are referring to the “height” or “thickness” of their foot, top to bottom (also, or most of the time) and not specifically just the *WIDTH* (side to side) of their foot, so when I would read reviews, this always threw me off! So, with that said, I’ll explain more thoroughly HOW these fit. The uppers fit very much like the Whisper model. My feet are very thin, low-volume, but WIDE: a C-width. The foot bed accommodates my width (side to side) perfectly! The uppers wrap around the top and sides of my feet also perfectly: snuggly-“hugging” my feet, without being too loose or too tight. The sandals are very lightweight, with a bit of a squishy foot bed and the thickness of the sole adds a bit of height without it being too much. These are the perfect combination of the best of the Venice and Whisper models blended into one perfect sandal! Totally love and recommend these !

I have another pair of Keens similar to these that I’ve loved. They still look awesome after a lot of wear and have gotten more comfortable the more I wear them. This pair will be great, too. The size 12 B is the perfect length. They are quite narrow, which for me is great, because I have a narrow foot and B is the narrowest Keen offers. The elastic string allows for adjustment. Fantastic pair of shoes!

The sandal was uncomfortable because the area across the toe pushed down on that part of my foot – even after I made the elastic very loose. It was the stiff fabric causing the discomfort – even when sitting. I bought size 12 Whispers last year and this was as close to those as I could find. If you ever get the Whispers back in a 12 let me know. I would like another pair.

I should have loved these shoes. They are light weight, adjustable, waterproof, really comfortable – everything you need for those times when sandals are not enough but shoes are too much. Unfortunately, they feel like I’m wearing high heels! Sure enough, when I check the Keen website, they even advertise them as having a wedge heel for a wear in town, and a “woman’s” fit. Unless you actually want high heeled sneakers, don’t order these.

I had to return them though I wanted so bad to keep them. I wear a 10, have an 11 which doesnt fit right in the toe, so ordered a 12 thinking they might fit, but no. Apparently my toes are too fat? I don’t know…. I need a higher toe box I guess you’d say and these just fit wrong. I’m usually very to fit shoes and Keens just don’t work. Disappointed.

These are really cute but everything about the new Keen sizing and foot bed is off for me. I wear a 7 in traditional Keens so ordered a 7.5, but everything was off – length, width, arch support, and heel.

These are nice shoes, but a bit loose for my flat and narrow feet. Notice that this model does not have a strap that tightens around the ankle. I had a different model that i could tighten around the ankle which helped with fit. cushion walk feel, not too soft, but not hard like some other outdoor sandals.

These fit perfect, I am a 10.5 and that’s what I ordered. I have not bought Keen’s in years but purchased them for a trip to Costa Rica. They are much more comfortable and supportive than I remember. I bought the light gray which has a hint of coral, very happy!

My first pair of KEEN sandals. GREAT arch support & CUSHIONY heel as you walk. Generally wear a 8.5 but ordered a 9 thinking would fit better according to some reviews…WRONG. They are true to size. Sometimes I need to wear a wide width, but not in these. Extremely comfortable…like walking on a cloud. So much give to them as you walk. Pricey, but worth the cost!!! Will purchase another pair in a different color. One pair for everyday & another just for vacationing/travel.

These sandals are pricey but maybe worth it–lightweight, comfortable, good support, sturdy, attractive. With age, people lose padding on their feet–even formerly comfortable sandals can become uncomfortable when worn all day and in hot weather. These sandals really don’t have padding but they are amazingly comfortable for aging feet.

I love these shoes so much I never want to take them off! They are so comfortable! I usually wear orthotics in my shoes but don’t seem to miss them in these. They have excellent arch support. I have the gray color and they go with everything. I’m thinking of getting another pair! Buy them now!!

These Keens are perfect for boating , hiking, shopping. Love the colors, materials are top notch, and they were comfortable right out of the box. I have a lot of neuropathy in my feet from chemo and there aren’t many styles I can wear, so I’m very grateful for these because stubbing my toes is extremely painful, and clearly I can not stub my toe. 🙂

This is my second pair in a different color. It’s been so hard to find a Sandler that I find truly comfortable. The sole and heel are cushioned so well which for me makes them extremely comfortable. May order another pair if I can find a color that I need

I love these Keens, the West Astoria.
I have several pairs of the Whisper, but I wanted the olive green color.
My usual size in Keen sandals is 10, but I needed to go up to a 10.5 for the Astoria. They are comfortable and attractive.

I absolutely love these shoes. Keen’s quality is undeniable. They are actually an attractive color combination. I have a narrow foot with a high arch and NEVER find shoes that fit properly. Purchased these based on other reviews that said they were too narrow. These are perfect! Thank you Keen. Now, please make an attractive shoe for sightseeing that I can also wear out to dinner!
